  • Product Description

    The QSFP+-40G-SWDM4QSFP+Transceiver is designed for use in 40 Gigabit Ethernet links over duplex multimode fiber (MMF). This transceiver is compliant with the QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba XLPPI electrical interface. The SWDM4 transceiver enables reuse of its existing 10G duplex MMF infrastructure for migration to 40G with a path toward 100G. Digital diagnostics functions are available via an I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP+ MSA, to allow access to real-time operating parameters. It features a bi-directional design with the Tx port transmitting 40G data over four separate wavelengths (850nm, 880nm, 910nm, and 940nm).

    With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be used in various applications, such as 40G Ethernet and Enterprise Data Center.
